Exclusively Oak Property

This property recently completed in Thursley incorporates a variety of our Oak products including the American White Oak feature staircase, a beautiful European Oak front door, French doors and window frames.

American White Oak Staircase

The staircase was manufactured in American White Oak with feature newel posts. The newel posts were custom manufactured with inset grooved panels and intricately moulded newel caps. The customer requested a ‘larger than normal’ specification for the staircase components, so we utilised our 118mm newel posts with a larger 90mm wide handrail. This gives the whole staircase a chunky feel to match in with the large oak beams left exposed within the property.

European Oak Doors

We also supplied European Oak doors, including a stunning TG&V boarded front door and panelled French doors. These were all finished in the customer's own specified brush-applied oil finish. The French doors used our standard espagnolette locking system and oil-rubbed bronze butt hinges (non-standard).

Bespoke Casement Windows

The window frames supplied on this project were a little different to usual. Though we can source aluminium casements (see our Oak/Aluminium Casement section), the customer used their own sourced Bronze casements to fit within our sub-frames. The sub-frames were still supplied fully finished in the matching brush applied oil used on the doors.
