The Input Joinery Story

Input Joinery Ltd is a company known for its high-quality joinery products and exceptional customer service. Our mission is to provide our customers with superior timber windows, doors, roof lanterns, and staircases of innovative design and performance.

Based in the UK, we have dedicated ourselves to the creation and production of premium timber products for over 40 years. It is a proud history that has made us leaders in timber technology and we look forward to working with you on your project.

New Exhibition Stand
Our new permanent Swindon Showcase is live, offering the perfect starting point for homebuilders looking to explore high-quality, signature timber ranges in person.

Updated Showroom
In July, the showroom was revamped to showcase the existing range and our latest staircase design. We now have 6 staircase designs on show for you to see, feel and test out for your home or project.

620+ solar panels added onto the factory roof to power the manufacturing of our products.

new staff canteen facilities
We recognise that staff spend a lot of their day at work, so we updated the welfare facilities. By adding modern additional spaces, our staff can now relax whilst on their breaks.

New Equipment
A Stegherr Automatic Bead & Bar machine and a Weining Opticut Cross Cut Saw were added to our production line to stream-line our manufacturing process. Both these machines help reduce waste, and will future proof us for years to come.

New Fleet
It was an exciting day when the new fleet of fitter vans arrived! Spotting them out and about is always fun.
2020
High Tech Biomass Boiler
We were keen to develop manufacturing methods that are as sustainable as possible. As such, we replaced our bio-mass boiler with a new system upgrade that now combusts waste material from the factory and generates all the heat for our facilities.
2018
5 Axis CNC Machine
As we continued to invest and grow, a new 5 axis CNC machine was installed to replace two dated pieces of equipment. We also added new software to enable our customers to to see 3D renders of our staircases prior to manufacture.
2016
Security Testing
Committed to being a market leader in producing a premium product, we put forward our windows and doors for accreditation through an extensive testing programme. This enabled us to carry out testing for security and weather protection.
2015
Semi-automated Paint Line
Once again, further expansion of our facilities was required. In this year, we constructed a purpose made extension to house our state-of-the-art paint line and drying space.
2012
Our Interactive Showroom
We are proud of the product we produce and believe it is class leading in the UK. To help our customers decide on the finer details, we opened our showroom to exhibit our products and options available for our customers to see in person
2010
Weinig Conturex Installation
To ensure our products met our customers expected quality and performance requirements, Input Joinery installed a Weinig Conturex machining centre to allow for the most precision machining of window and door components.
2009
Additional Manufacturing Space
In this year, we acquired an additional unit located next to our current premises to allow the business to continue growing.
2003
New CNC and Moulder
Additional machinery was installed, including a CNC machine and 6 headed moulder to give us more flexibility to deliver to our customers preferences.
2002
Purpose Built factory
We moved again! This time Input Joinery relocated to a new and improved, purpose-built factory, with the space and capacity for new, innovative cutting and painting machinery.

5 Axis CNC with Dedicated Software
Demand for custom-made timber products continued to grow, so a vast investment was made in a 5-axis CNC machine with specialised tooling/software to improve efficiencies and expand the breadth of our capabilities.
1994
Expansion into the Retail Market
As word of mouth spread, new sales avenues opened up, including the opportunity to supply and fit bespoke windows, doors and staircases to the retail market.
1992
Weinig Window Line Machine
The arrival of our first Weinig Window Line Machine represented a new level of quality for producing bespoke timber windows and doors.
1988
Moved to Andover
As our customers fell in love with the new premium products on offer, Input Joinery relocated to a larger factory in Andover to allow the company to continue with its expansion.
1979
Input Joinery was Founded
It was Gerald Ruddick who identified a market opportunity for bespoke architectural joinery in the Hampshire and surrounding areas. Three of the original members of staff continued on with the company until retirement, gaining over 40 years of service each.
